Before you can fully use your account, we need to check your ID and get a copy of your signature for our files – which means we need you to stop by any ANZ branch. If you prefer, you can call us on 0800 ANZ 2 YOU to set up a time to visit.

When you come in, please remember to bring identification like:
  • your passport; New Zealand driver's licence; New Zealand student photo ID; or another New Zealand bank's credit card with your photo on it, OR
  • any two of these – another New Zealand bank's embossed bank card or credit card in your name; SuperGold Card; Hospitality Association of NZ 18+ Card; or a Community Services Card.
