ANZ Travel Card
ANZ Travel Card is the easier, more convenient way to carry foreign currency overseas. It's a reloadable prepaid MasterCard® that allows you to spend in the local currency.
Because the ANZ Travel Card is a MasterCard® you can use it at more than 25 million locations worldwide.
Currencies
The ANZ Travel Card is available in four different currencies:
- Australian Dollars
- US Dollars
- Euros
- British Pounds.
Security
ANZ Travel Card is PIN secured and can be used anywhere MasterCard® is accepted electronically (it won't work in the old "zip zap" machines). This means you have access to the world’s largest ATM network. Cash withdrawal fees apply.
Backup card
When you get an ANZ Travel Card, we give you two cards. One card is a backup card just in case something happens while you're away.
We recommend you keep the two cards separate, i.e. one in your wallet and the other in your luggage.
Conversion in New Zealand
When you return home, any remaining funds can be converted back to New Zealand Dollars and refunded.*
Loss or theft
If you think your ANZ Travel Card may be lost or stolen call us on 0800 777 811.
* This conversion will be subject to the exchange rate on the day.
