To be eligible to apply for a UDC Car Loan, you must meet the following criteria:
- The purpose of the loan must be for the purchase of a motor vehicle, specifically a car, van or utility.
- The minimum loan is $5000.
- The term of the loan is for a minimum of one year and maximum of five years.
- You must hold a current full or restricted New Zealand driver's license.
- The motor vehicle must have comprehensive insurance to the vehicle’s value.
- Confirmation of your income is required.
- You must satisfy UDC lending criteria.
- You must be at least 18 years old.
Whether you’re applying for a UDC Car Loan over the phone or visiting an ANZ branch, you will need to provide the following information:
- A copy of your current photo driver's license.
- For existing ANZ customers: confirmation of your income - 2 recent pay slips. For businesses, including those who are self-employed, profit and loss statements are required.
- For non-ANZ customers: confirmation of your income - 2 recent pay slips, and bank statements covering the last 3 months. For businesses, including those who are self-employed, profit and loss statements and balance sheets are required.
