- All travel money services are available in our branches. Major currencies can be ordered if not readily available.
- Our friendly, dedicated foreign exchange experts are located in the Auckland and Christchurch central business districts.
- Locate an ANZ Bureau de Change.
- We have specialised opening hours to suit our 'travelling' customers.
- Cash and American Express Travellers Cheques are available in a wide range of foreign currencies.
- Our team of international experts are available over the phone, during normal office hours.
- Simply phone ANZ Phone Direct on and selection option 5 then 1.
- Call (overseas callers dial ) and select '0' - or register at any ANZ branch.
- We'll ask you a series of personal and account-related questions to verify your identity.
- We'll then set you up to use ANZ Phone Direct straight away.
Once you're registered to use ANZ Phone Direct, you are automatically eligible to register for ANZ Internet Banking.
This service is only available to ANZ customers.
Transactional dollar limits apply.
ANZ Phone Direct International Services is only available between 8.30am and 5.00pm Monday to Friday (New Zealand time) excluding New Zealand public holidays.
Foreign Currency accounts are only available via ANZ Phone Direct International Services, if in the exact same names as the domestic account registered.
With ANZ Internet Banking International Services you can order your travel money, or send funds overseas – all without leaving your seat. Simply register for Pay Anyone to access International Services online.
- Click the 'Pay Anyone' menu and register.
- Once you've registered, click on the 'International Services' menu.
- Apply and you will be able to access International Services the next day.
This service is only available to ANZ customers.

ANZ Internet Banking International Services can only be used when paying from a New Zealand dollar account.
