The ANZ Student Package is available to students 18 years of age and over who are permanent residents of New Zealand. Students aged 16 or 17 years are eligible for an ANZ Student Account but, are not eligible for a credit card or any lending. You must be studying full or part-time for a minimum duration of 1 year at a government recognised tertiary institution and/or in a New Zealand Qualifications Authority (NZQA) approved course and/or for a NZQA qualification relating to your work.
If your application is approved, you must direct credit any income that you receive into your ANZ Student Account (this can include Government Student Allowance, Student loan or part-time wages).
You'll need to provide proof of enrolment in a full or part-time course for a minimum duration of one year at a tertiary institution and/or in a New Zealand Qualifications Authority (NZQA) approved course and/or for a NZQA qualification relating to your work. After the fourth year you'll need to apply to extend your entitlement to the ANZ Student Package by 31 March every year you continue to study.
