An ANZ Overdraft is an additional feature that can be attached to your everyday banking transaction account. It provides a financial safety net to cover any unexpected cash expenses. This product is ideal to help you bridge a gap between paydays or unforeseen expenses.
Transactions up to the approved overdraft limit made via all banking channels such as ATMs, EFTPOS, ANZ Phone Direct*, ANZ Internet Banking*, branches and cheques would be honoured.
The ANZ Graduate Package Overdraft allows you to apply for an interest free overdraft up to $2,000 for two years. After the two years, the rate will revert to the prevailing ANZ Overdraft rate. The overdraft application fee is waived for graduates but a credit facility fee is payable.
To be eligible for an ANZ Graduate Package Overdraft, you must:
- be 18 years or older;
- have all regular incomes direct credited to your account;
- have a good credit or savings history; and
- be a permanent New Zealand resident.
