The ANZ International Student Account is available to international students 16 years or over who are studying full or part-time for a minimum duration of one year at a government recognised tertiary institution and/or in a NZQA approved course and/or for a NZQA qualification relating to their work. (The ANZ Student Package is available to international students 18 years and over who are permanent residents of New Zealand and meet the above study criteria.)
If your application is approved, you must credit any income you receive into your ANZ Student Account (this can include Government Student Allowance, Student loan or part-time wages).
You'll need to provide proof of enrolment in a full or part time course for a minimum duration of one year at a tertiary institution and/or in a New Zealand Qualifications Authority (NZQA) approved course and/or for a NZQA qualification relating to your work. The fee exemptions will apply for the length of the course or four years (whichever is shorter). After the fourth year you will need to apply for the fee exemption by 31 March each year if you're still studying.
