A Qantas ANZ Visa card is an excellent way to earn Qantas Frequent Flyer points.
For every dollar you spend on eligible purchases, you'll earn Qantas Frequent Flyer points. Simply choose the card that suits you best (subject to meeting and eligibility criteria) the Qantas ANZ Visa Card or the Qantas ANZ Visa Platinum Card.
You'll earn one Qantas Frequent Flyer point per $1 you spend on eligible purchases up to $10,000 per annum (1 April to 31 March). After that you'll earn one point per $2 spent.
Qantas Frequent Flyer points are not earned on cash advances or payments for cash-equivalent transactions such as the purchase of travellers cheques or gambling chips.
You'll earn one Qantas Frequent Flyer point per $1 you spend on eligible purchases (as set out in the Qantas ANZ Visa Reward Terms and Conditions) up to $30,000 per annum (1 April to 31 March). After that you'll earn one point per $2 spent.
More cards mean more Qantas Frequent Flyer points!
Add a cardholder to you Qantas ANZ Visa card account and any Qantas Frequent Flyer points earned on their card will be added to your points total.
Please note that:
- As the account holder, you're responsible for all transactions the additional cardholder makes.
- The person you nominate must be over 16 years of age.
- Qantas Frequent Flyer points are awarded to the account holder, not the additional cardholder.
- An additional card fee applies.

Your Qantas Frequent Flyer points will not expire as long as you earn or redeem points from your Qantas Frequent Flyer membership at least once every three years. This includes spending on your Qantas ANZ Visa card.
To earn Qantas Frequent Flyer points you need to be a member of the Qantas Frequent Flyer program. For a membership application form, phone 0800 101 500 or visit the Qantas Frequent Flyer website to apply online. A joining fee applies, currently $50.
Once Qantas has sent you your Qantas Frequent Flyer number, just phone us on 0800 940 747 (option 4) and we'll link it to your account. From then on, all Qantas Frequent Flyer points you earn on your Qantas ANZ Visa card will automatically be credited to your Qantas Frequent Flyer account each month.
Note: Your Qantas Frequent Flyer points will expire if they can't be credited to a Qantas Frequent Flyer membership account within six months.

You'll see the Qantas Frequent Flyer points you've earned for the previous statement period on your monthly Qantas ANZ Visa card statement. For the most up-to-date points balance, visit the Qantas Frequent Flyer website anytime, or phone 0800 101 500 and quote your Qantas Frequent Flyer number.
To redeem your Qantas Frequent Flyer points, follow the instructions on the Qantas Frequent Flyer website, in your Qantas Frequent Flyer Benefits Guidebook or phone 0800 100 767.
You can earn bonus Qantas Frequent Flyer points when you use your Qantas ANZ Visa to shop at any of our Bonus Partner outlets in New Zealand. These are additional to the Qantas Frequent Flyer points you earn on every dollar you spend on eligible purchases, so it really pays to shop with Bonus Partners!
There is no limit to the number of Bonus points you can earn from our Bonus Partners. Simply spend $1 with any of the following Bonus Partners to earn one Bonus point.
