ANZ was established in 1840, making us New Zealand’s oldest bank. Today, we are part of ANZ National Bank Limited, the largest full-service bank in the country, and more than one million New Zealanders bank with us.
As part of our service, we have a team dedicated to helping new residents with their move to New Zealand. Our New Resident Services team is committed to helping you make the move to ANZ as convenient and as simple as possible. Specifically, ANZ New Resident Services can help you:

  • set up a NZ bank account before you arrive;
  • organise additional banking products relevant to your needs; and
  • ensure your local ANZ branch has everything organised for pick up upon your arrival to New Zealand (with 150 branches, we are everywhere in NZ!).
Of course, our team are also New Zealanders so in addition to providing banking support, they can also answer more general questions about your impending move.
