Key Banking Features

The 'Balances and Transactions' page is the first page you will see when you log on to ANZ Internet Banking. It shows the current balance of all your linked ANZ accounts including ANZ Everyday Banking and Savings Accounts, ANZ Home Loans, ANZ Personal Loans, ANZ Business Overdraft Accounts and ANZ Credit Cards (Excludes ANZ Business Cards). From here you can also search and view your transactions (up to the last 90 days), view your last three credit card statements and export your transactions into a selected range of personal financial management software packages.

The 'Transfer Funds' page lets you transfer money between your linked ANZ accounts at any time. You can use this facility to make a payment to your ANZ Credit Card, make extra loan repayments*, or transfer money between any of your linked ANZ accounts to cover cheques or payments that need to be made. You have the choice of three options: you can make a payment now, enter a date when you want your payment to be made or set it up as a regularly recurring payment.

The 'Pay Bills' page enables you to pay bills from over 2,000 registered billers. You can pay bills at any time, future-date your payments or set up a recurring payment. Before you can use ANZ Internet Banking to pay your bills, you need to call 0800 368 524 to add a biller. If you are calling from outside New Zealand dial +64 4 473 0370 or from a cellular phone, dial 09 363 5533.

'Pay Anyone' allows you to transfer money directly to another individual or business with an account held at any registered New Zealand bank. Before you can use 'Pay Anyone' you will need to register to use the service and check you meet the eligibility criteria. This involves reading and agreeing to the Pay Anyone Terms and Conditions and selecting your daily Pay Anyone limit. To do this you must log on to ANZ Internet Banking and then click on the 'Pay Anyone Access' in the left-hand navigation menu. You can also increase your 'Pay Anyone' limit at any time by selecting 'My Internet Banking Details' from 'Update My Details' in the left-hand menu.

International Services allows you to transfer funds overseas via telegraphic transfer and to purchase international drafts (similar to a bank cheque but payable in foreign currency) through ANZ Internet Banking. To use these services, you need to have Pay Anyone Access and must then register at the International Services page located in the left-hand navigation menu of ANZ Internet Banking.

Customers can make payments directly to the Inland Revenue Department via ANZ Internet Banking. Using the 'Tax Payments' option in the left-hand navigation menu, customers can lodge up to $100,000 in a single transaction. It's just like paying a bill online.
